Rain Forest

The sun's yellow rays filtered though the gray skies The foliage damp from the previous rain The humidity clung like a leech would cling to the skin I could not wipe the dampness away Sunbeams drenched upon my back My face became droplets of moisture Clinging ,with no where to escape The heat intensifies and the greenery sprung forth The petals delighting in the new precipitation As the rainbow began to fade in the sky I am walking where life and death hold constant beauty. 6/9/12

this is wonderfully descriptive, Phyllis. Almost as if you had been to this place! (petals for pedals). REally enjoyed it.
