Premeditated- For Reverse Contest

Premeditated The pain you inflict The trap that you set Ordered by obsession Made of twisted ropes Premeditated Unintentional wounds Can be forgiven Thoughtless words and acts Like sand through fingers For premeditated Spite More grace than usual needed To forgive Born in hate Rooted in misconceptions Fed by jealousy Premeditated murder of a soul A higher sentence Longer time Unforgivable crime Premeditated August 12, 2013 For Craig Cornish's Reverse Contest

I think I will stay away from those foolish fish. It's probably their own fault for dropping out of school! Sorry bad pun. There may be a poem in there somewhere.

Deep, deep, deep, my dear Eileen! Hmmm a vegetarian... I'm almost one. Eat very little meat, mostly chicken. Love my salads, one EVERY day for over a year and a half! But we're talking like a HUGE salad... best meal of the day! Big warm hugs xoxoxox

Hey sweetie! Yes...good for you! Lots of people are going vegetarian or vegan these days. I'm lacto ovo vegetarian...yes, I have eggs and dairy products, but...wish I could cut those out as well. I love cheese too much and yogurt...WOW! ;) Chicken breasts are good for ya...least amount of fat in those...Salad...GOOD FOR YOU! Warm hugs back at ya, KENNY!

I like the whole poem but I feel blocked by the blown away line. It may just be me so don't alter it if it feels right to you. Have a good night Eileen, I was pleased to see you wrote a couple of poems for me to read.

You've done a great job here, reads well in both directions, this behaviour is unacceptable, that's about the content of the poem, not that you've done a great job lol. Take care, Richard

I react the same way when I'm at a restaurant and they feed me a "Salad" as an appetizer instead of the juicy cheese steak sandwich I asked for. Heartless waiters. But, in all seriousness, there are so many painful reality checks in these lines. One never forgets how another makes them feel. Strong piece!

Last...last..I stick out here in the Middle East like a sore thumb..meat is a very big part of hospitality. Hubby and daughter are NOT vegetarian, and I often get heat from family for my stance... :( I tried cooking meat, but...it's so hard to do..so, when they get a hankering for meat...we eat out, or get invited by the in-laws...I'm bad, but...I can't change who I am....Lots of actors are embracing the vegetarian vegan lifestyle...I was reading up on it yesterday by chance. It IS the healthier way to go...less cholesterol...if I could only hate sweets as much! ;) Hope I didn't offend anyone...that's just me!

Cont...last... ;) There are so many substitutes that can be used that can give you the protein you need...soya products...I use them in my cooking. Also, my church organization produces wonderful meat substitutes...hot dogs, burgers, chicken "breasts"...that taste like meat...to help people make the transition, I guess. If I could go vegan, I would....but I love dairy products...like strained yogurt..people here thrive on it. Eggs, I try not to think about it when I eat them...

Cont...some chickens are cooped up and aren't even allowed to walk around while they are being fed, and they go so crazy in these confines that they try to poke each others eyes out. Yes..I've read this. So, also...the poor animals suffer before their deaths...biology class did it for me...I was vegetarian before that but AFTER that, I just couldn't even think of eating meat. With mad cow, and bird flu, and foolish fish (made that one up), it is just safer not to!

:) I'm afraid it is VERY much so! I just can't get any meat down me. I'm...repulsed by the idea of eating something dead. I know...that is rather extreme wording, but it's true. Richard, animals are prone to disease like we are...cancer, diabetes, etc..Some animals are scavengers and eat refuse..which we then take into our bodies, and then those that are good for us...are pumped full of hormones to get them fat!

What! Say it isn't so! I am definately a carnivore myself. I do however respect the decision. Maybe you can answer my question. Why do vegitarians make there food look and taste like meet? Inquiring minds want to know.

:) Thanks, Drake! :) I really can't go on this juicy cheese steak trip with you cause I'm vegetarian! ;) But.....I get the drift...Heartless heartless waiters! I don't even eat jello or marshmallows if they have animal gelatin in them...yea...I'm silly that way! Glad you liked the poem, my dear!

Excellent write Eileen.....the murder of someone's soul done with hateful intent is by far the most unforgivable. Reads awesome both ways. Hugs
