Prancing Pony

She rides a horse 'pon the merry-go-round The decorated carousel endorse Memories of long ago now astound She rides a horse Carousel music wind up tinkling sound Sights, scents, food all pleasures reinforce One enjoyable night forever now renowed Long ago, short time together, love's course In my aged mind those happy times rehearse 'Pon the carousel round and round and round She rides a horse I don't remember what form that this was... Just guessing Rondeau..

This brought back many good memories for me. Because, when I was a kid, my Mom would take me to the county fair every summer. And, I always had to ride on the carousel, at least once! Aw, this is sweet and cute.. Reminds of my daughter's birthday trip. We went to the zoo, and there she went round and round, had fun, riding a pony, and the carousel..... Sending hugs and love... LINDA
