Writing poetry keeps me calm. Poems I kept behind a dam. Released, cascading, frollicking forth. Encouraging comments give me worth. Empowered, enabled I am fit to burst. Challenged, stimulated, embraced. By like minded folk I am encased. Such a gift to have been given. To find this Poetrysoup heaven.

Yes, Jean. It is really good to be able to write for people who are appreciative of poetry. Not saying that all my poetry is good. Of all the art forms, poetry seems to be the least appreciated. Barry.
