Poetry For Poets Wrote Itself Without My Consent Edition

POETRY FOR POETS (wrote itself without my consent- edition) You know when you start a poem with a specific idea of how it will look and read. Then as the words flow onto the page the poem takes on it's own life and meaning. Well this is one of those, a poem that wrote itself, I'm sure not going to claim responsibility for it, it's not funny at all! Poetry more organic than fertilizer rooted in the **** of life manure flourishes with moderate watering but grows ragged and wild intoxication withers with chemical pesticides intended to eliminate the competition defoliation Poetry more organic than fertilizer lovingly tendered by life blossoms

That's some write, Scott. I didn't quite go for the manure part, but sure was happy with the blossoming bit. :) Yes, poems do take a life of their own. Thanks for your visit to my poem on Richard.

Very real feelings are allowed to wash over your thoughts and dull the edge of reality. Well written with wit and a pinch of irony. Emile.

I'm so glad that the wit came through. I so want to write an amusing poem, but right now it feels as though it's just not happening.

I start with an idea and an ending but rarely ever does the finish product resemble that. As I am writing my muse takes over and the end product produces itself. My best poems are those this happens to completely. Great write my friend! A7

Wow this was creative and a unique innovative way to describe poetry. Yeah poems sometimes seem to write themselves as they slip out of the mind onto the page, I know what u mean. Kudos Great to read u again.

Poetry-May those pesticides never be a ruin to our poetry.Poetry is indeed about our inner muses and voices. If it was about competing many poets would stop writing cuz there are only few who get to be always the winners.Ilove your poem..Its rooted in fertile soil and flourisheswith thoughts.Awesome : )
