Perplexed

It’s hard to tell anymore If that’s you knocking at my door With my blurry view I really haven’t a clue I just want to believe in me, before it’s my time leave I am again a child Innocent and wild Are the roses really red? What was it you said? I want to kiss you But they tell me you're already dead Now I’m hanging on by a silver thread I don’t know what lies ahead So please give me my daily bread And tell me it’s all in my head What in the world can be next? Do not dare ask me; I am perplexed

Good rhyming and descriptiveness. Sometimes I feel perplexed when I get up in the morning as well.
