Perfect Spiral - For Contest
Perfect Spiral
He spoke of life’s eternity
the labor of the plow
spirit’s cultivation
of the ever present now
An eternal present moment
forever taking shape
life’s spiritual spiral
offering no escape
This ever present moment
through which passes all of time
a pin hole into paradise
through which no light can shine
Furrows in the spiral
creations cleansing chore
circling the future
doing less while learning more
He spoke of being’s trinity
body, mind, and spirit
the power of this troika
when we decide to share it
He left his gentle moment
released of carnal needs
yet in the present moment
nurtures all his seeds
He spoke of life’s eternity
the labor of the plow
spirit’s cultivation
of the ever present now.
