Path and Stream

The greatest pathway bestowing great signs Those of life from the trees that’s above it Colorful leaves that’s crafted by design Sometimes I walk this path, there’s times I sit No beauty can confess that which is built There’s a stream sparkling across this pathway I step over the stream to go my way Leaves do rest on the water as it flows Pebbles alongside work the leaves to stay How this path and stream were formed, no one knows

Great work describing your private nature walk..Enjoyed reading this one today..Thanks for stopping by..Yes, I have a 25 year collection of boy toys..I did have some from 49 years ago but they got used up over the years..We started buying when our first grandson was born and now we have a great grandson..God has not blessed us with a granddaughter..Sara

My husbands says get rid of some of those toys but I keep hanging onto them..Now we have Karter that enjoys coming and playing..Caleb played with him yesterday and he would say things like I remember playing with that..Sara

It makes someone wish to walk along the path and across the stream breathing the beauty of your creation within!

It's amazing to me to think of where all the water comes from... when you come across one it makes you wonder HOW it can be going and going for months on end. I liked the subtleties in this, Russell... and you have a keen eye for observation (sounds like a great place to sit and read a book).
