One Heck of a Day!
Heck of a Day
I was sitting on a bench watching people go by.
Up and down the mall, in all shapes and size.
Across from me was a wanne be model..
Long legged, tiny waist, an "air headed" dawdle.
In the store behind the black metal bench...
Was a fat cat smoking; leaving such a stench!
Going down the escalator, kids acting like clowns.
Until one shrieks, a sock caught; from playing around!
I get up to walk; someone is following to close to me!
I stop to give a dirty look, he falls over awkwardly!
A little 'ole couple strolling at their own pace.
As if life, to them; was still a "showcase"
In the music store, a young couple was ogling slots from A to Zee.
Then I heard yelling and fighting; over a pathetic CD!
I sat back down on the other side of the mall.
Went in to "take care of business" geez! She was as big as the stall!
Decidedly hungry, I go get something to eat.
One table up, flip flops off..Egads! Someone's feet stink!
Appetite lost, I decided to leave, out of nowhere came a bibber!
Oh, my gosh! I forgot to "feed" the meter!!
Finally home "safe" I looked down the hall in the mirror beyond the archway..
Holy Guacamole! I did not need the calories anyway!
