One, Two, Tree
No tree, neither wide nor standing tall
Has strength for which to claim
For when winds blow so violently
It falls down just the same
The little sapling stands with pride
Upon the challenge of the winds
No breaking limbs, nor splitting trunk
For the little tree does bend
A smart one of the forest
As strength’s provided young
For as the mighty willow bends
It remains second to none
