Ode To Charlie Sheen: Bi-Winning

- Normally I don’t mess with email requests; but times are a-changin’ and I’m rearrangin’. - (As noted by all this distress, the story we wish we‘d see less) Titled: “The Train Wreck of Charlie Sheen;” The public seems a little bitter; As he rambles his rants on Twitter, Social network scenes, all the magazines; And he’s still rollin’ in dough, like we’ve never seen. Any news is good news…so they say; He’s gonna relapse anyway; So at least he’s getting high, and making pay. Everyone’s glued to their TV and internet devices, But the best thing to do, believe me, is ignore him and his vices. He feeds financially and emotionally, off you and me So leave Charlie alone! Just let him be…

I agree:) The more attention the man gets the worse he becomes. Great job, and thank you very much for your kind words and review on Lou. It is a poem close to my heart.

If we could cast as much attention on the plight of Native Americans as we have on the social life of Charlie Sheen, it would be comforting, Joseph. When Dad passed away, I was clearing out his things and found he had been donating money for many years to and education foundation for Native American children. I just hope they find ways to keep their culture alive. That poem wrote itself from deep in my heart. Love, Carolyn

You said it Joseph. Charlie's a spoiled brat and all of the trouble he's in he has brought on himself. I'm tired of hearing about it too. Thanks for your comments on Super Sunday. Your comment about "Ben Worthlessburger" gave me a good laugh. Thanks. Best to you, Diane

Charlie is out of control as your words are well taken Joseph.. my husband is from Pittsburgh so we must don black and gold if they are in the playoffs like this year...but.. at heart I am a NYGiants fan all the way luv... I follow all sports but faithful to football and baseball the most.. luv the Yankees as we live right outside NYC so we cheer for them always.. hopefully they will settle the issues with the NFL and not deny us our fun come Fall...I used to live in Cleveland years ago luv.

Joseph, I've lost all respect for Charlie and wonder how his father Martin Sheen feels about all this. It can't be easy on the rest of his family. If we ignore him, he will hopefully just go away. I refuse to read (or listen to) another news report about his plight. He needs help. Well done, my friend. So glad to see "Open Sores" on the Hot 100 list. You're a terrific writer! Love, Carolyn
