Not Enough Time
This is my last year to make things count
Cause some of these faces I will never see again
Even though there are ones I can live without
There are ones that fill a good portion of my soul
I have lots of room to hold
But not enough time to keep them
I am going to miss everybody
You see little things matter a lot to me
A simple hug when I walk through the door
Or a good shoulder to lean on
I am going to miss it all
They say were growing up
I want to tell them shut up
But I can't be rebellious anymore
Cause I know their right
They say hold on to childhood
As long as god will allow
I think i'm reaching my max
I want a do over
This ended all to quickly
Now I have to blink a little slower
and hug a little longer
and do everything extra
Cause I don't know
When we will get the chance again
and that though frightens me
