Natural Stump

Lifted from the soft ground is an old stump And moss covers the surface It holds great aroma Flowers enhance view They bring a wonderful smell A grandiose sound Exists near the stream nearby Stump transfixes all humans Dirt was flown about After tree fell years ago Nature took over

Yes, it is so interesting how nature takes over and makes something beautiful out of something like a stump. good observation, Russell.

WOW... trees and their dominance in nature-- often reduced BY nature to a stump. Clever and great description-- could smell the moss.
