My Twenty-Two Years

In my twenty-two years I have never been to college I have never had a steady job I've never found a cure for the common cold I've never invented a much needed gizmo In my twenty-two years I have never saved someones life I have no life long childhood friend I've never been the popular one I've never been rich enough for some But in my twenty-two years I can say I've made my mother proud I've got a high school diploma I have my own poetry published I have survived this long in this world In my twenty-two years I have married my one true love and most inportant of all I've made miracles My two sons
