My Lovely Sunshine -Chapter 1-

In the desert of desolation, I feel this all-to-familiar frustration Get the hell away from me…negativity… Flee from me, unsatisfied soul of envy I yearn for something more You’re the one I adore You’re the one I adore You deserted me long ago The wind blew to and fro Never mind…I will be off to my fantasy island I call isolation – a land that has water and sand… A place I can explore… I implore you…don’t be close to me… I don’t feel that deep connection tonight…I am the shimmering shore I soar in defeat… I am sore with blistered feet I’m fatigued and weak The day has been bleak Since forevermore… You’re the one I adore You’re the one I adore I was wondering where you’ve gone – Maybe in the wilderness, Drenched in vibrant, zealous sun… Thinking in tranquil distress… I can’t express my lack of progress You just stand there, unaware more or less… I guess you are still the one I adore I suppose you’ll slam that door… Because you never loved me – I was deceived from the start You know what – you broke this poet heart…an art that’s torn apart… Ripped in shreds of nothing… You were my everything Until you deserted me some more… You’re not the one I adore… Anymore… Drenched in sun, I come to realization that I’m not the only one… Feeling like a son of a gun Waiting until this majestic sun disappears…my personal battle’s won A battle for peace…my future son… You wear a striped shirt like an expert I wear whatever I want with little effort We are still two peas in a pod I still miss our closeness a lot I’m growing weary When you got all teary You’re the only one that saved my life From reducing to insincere strife You gave me genuine kisses and hugs While I still live with billions of bugs Kiss the footsteps of my heart’s fired-up desire… I’m higher than your elegant, effulgent and extravagant empire Pushing you to move on With or without me…were we ever meant to be? My lovely sunshine, Will you ever shine on me oh so vibrantly?
