My Journey Home -Contest
It's been three years since you left me
have been in a cloud of despair
walking the path of life alone
healing is a long process
to once again feel whole.
now the journey back to living
starts with very small steps
plenty of stops to find myself.
To find my inner strength
I can see the end of the tunnel
a light shines to welcome me home
I have leant on my friends
they were my forever hope,
now I am stronger of mind
to rejoin the living again.
to face many ups and downs
on my journey home.
