My Endless Love - Little Miss Stephnie
'Who loves me grandma? ' she asked with a smile.
'Why everyone, you sweet child.'
'You forgot someone grandma, ' she said with a grin.
'Why I didn't miss a soul child, I named all your kin.'
'You didn't name Jesus, he love me too.'
'You are so right child, he loves you true.'
'Mommie! Mommie! come, we have company! '
'Hush child, there's noone here but you and me.'
'I love you mommie, wish we could play for just a while,
But they are short one angel in heaven and they need
A little child.'
'I love you mommie, don't cry for me, I am going
Home to Jesus, let his love abide in thee.'
(Little Stephnie died in her sleep that night at age 3)
