Last week at my house. Hyrum on the left just turned 14. He is my Halloween grandbaby all grown up now!!

Halloween 2014 with my daughter and her kids. Hyrum has now passed me up in height and is nearly 6 foot like his dad and mom (my daughter is nearly six feet. Wish I was!!!)

Halloween 2010. How fast they grow!!

Stage 1 Trick-or- treating long after dark, we knocked on an old lady’s door. Her annoyed look clearly did not match our Halloween glee. But that did not dissuade us from dashing to the next lighted porch. Stage 2 I took my two small kids out in cute costumes Halloween night. Once Trick- or- Treating was finished and my children were tucked in bed, I busied myself sifting through their bags for the Snickers bars! Stage 3: Sometimes before 5, the Trick- or- Treaters appear at our door, announced constantly by our barking dog. Although they may look cute, after 9, I become the old bothered lady from my childhood. Oct. 25, 2016 For the Halloween Contest of Eve Roper

Wonderful string of Sijo with such vivid description is so few words.... I would hunt for the Snickers too!!! We never had trick or treating when I grew up but it is growing more popular every year. I would have placed this much higher than an HM:-( hugs Jan xx

I was looking at the 'Halloween 2014' pic with your daughter in it. I meant you as the 'lady with blond hair.' I call light brown hair, blond. I thought your hair looked blond in that pic. But I see in the other two pics your hair is really a reddish brown. I will see if I can find your page on FB and send you an invite. Much of my stuff on FB is open tho. Even all the political junk. Maybe not such a good idea, but?!

Oh so true, We loved trick or treating when we were young. Loved it when my son was young and now I live in an area that no one comes up to the house. I would look like the bothered old lady if they by chance came up the hill, up the drive and up the stairs and knocked, we wouldn't have anything for them. Loved your photos.

I can see the pictures now! Wow! I thought something was funny with this stupid computer. I normally use the Firefox browser and could never see the pictures you talked about. I just now decided to try Google Chrome and now I can see! Beautiful kids! Who is the pretty lady with the blond hair? No, we don't have any children. We've been okay with that tho. I always did pretty good by myself anyway. I am usually pretty happy being alone. You know how some of those hermit poets are. Love the pictures that show up when you blog. The one with...... the coke bottle is my favorite. Was that in Vegas? I think I leaned on that bottle once or twice. If you go to Fran Grasso on facebook there are tons of pictures of us. Just ignore all the political stuff tho. I'm the one with the red chef's hat.

If it were not for the fact that I am a man, I too would be the old bothered lady! Nicely done Andrea. ...Fran
