Mother -Make Me Cry
Mother, you became an angel
when I was just a boy staple
I was then told that He calls
good people unto Him as water falls.
At that moment of time
I acted brave and sublime
in fact, tried to console the rest
on your going away, grieved they lest.
but little did I know
I would myself need the dough
of your protective love, forever
even up to this day, however.
Since then, I have yearned
all my life for the love unearned
for not another’s mother
had the capacity to give it hither.
At each step in life I needed
to share my travails exceeded
just to put my head in your lap
and forget all my worries snap.
to grow strong and face
all adversities with a grace
and courage, derived from your love
but alas, none else gave the dove.
Since then, constantly feel
the need of your love and deal
I cry for you so many times
and mourn your absent chimes.
With time, I am now more at peace
deep inside, I have begun to release
I know you protect me from far above
at nights, with your warm glow and love.
You stand along with the twinkling stars
in an otherwise dark canvas, like avatars
you want to fill up the void left in my heart
that continues to linger, with your going apart.
