Moon Ray

The moon ray comes down to be upon the Earth I see some of it on my hand lightly cast It’s a grey, white light that’s been beaming since birth I just don’t know how long the moonlight will last For clouds may start to form on top of the moon But now the moon ray lights like an ancient rune There’s no colors present within the moonlight It shines ever-presently, showing its might

Pretty pretty moon! In Arabic...when they want to tell a woman she is beautiful...they say "Your face is like the moon!" Or...they just call her Moon! :) This was a lovely piece...

Russell wishes for a speedy recovery. I hope it wasn't your sweet tooth. Your Quatrain is wondrous. A magical impression. The last line give it a special energy. Warm Smiles, Connie

It's cool when you consider how long the moon has reflected light upon generations of us humans and how it continues to inspire our words. Well done again Russell.
