Midnight Pearl
When ships set sail upon the sea
Exploring ancient world
They'd move by how the stars align
And use the midnight pearl
By day they'd use a compass to
Determine East and West
At night they brought the sextant out
To chart the course that's best
The Captain stood behind the wheel
Enjoying peaceful waves
Confident the moon and stars
Would guide him on his way
But sometimes when the storms would rage
And ocean waves would roll
The Captain and the crew would pray
That Neptune takes no toll
Then all at once the seas subside
And clouds would break and wane
The midnight pearl would then shine through
To show the way again
