Midnight Magic- Haiku Trilogy

Rainbow colored hues Encircle the gypsy moon who flirts with the night She teases the stars Coyly peeks through the dream clouds Blinding radiance I gaze in wonder Mesmerized by the display Of midnight magic

Your post brings me warmth and sunshine. It's cloudy outside. Thank you for this lovely visit, my dear. Your mother also dropped by encouraging me to come back. That was so sweet of her. :)

Thanks, Anne Lise. Two nights ago the power was off in my area of Beirut. After I got out of the car, I looked up at the sky. It was a splendid sight. The moon was full...there were white billowly clouds that set off the moon's multi-colored halo. I stood and stared for a while. I tried to capture it here, but who can capture God's creation perfectly. Thanks for your note!
