Mid-Autumn Thoughts 2

Mid-autumn sums a moment's joy; A festive psalm that warms employ. Children flood choice with bright lanterns; Processions voice joy-ride that burns. Bright lanterns sway with windy breeze; Mid-autumn plays moonlight and ease. I sit right here by moonlit lake; Aura floods sphere -- a dazzling take. I sip fine tea, think thoughts of you; Touch feels easy: sad, empty cues. I sit with me, feel sombre mood; Tea memories usher sad good. I sit and stare, blank as a page; Empty, laid bare, an ancient stage. Thoughts drift away to ancient times; Mid-autumn plays echoes and chimes. This pavilion speaks softly calm; Ancient visions converge with psalm. Leon Enriquez 11 September 2014 Singapore
