dear doctor ram, have to say there is a part of your father, in your children & grandchildren always, in caring for them you have experienced part of your fathers efforts, this is the best you could do for him day by day, you have been with him very resonant with me, thank you.

A sad eulogy, Doctor. Detroit? Wow! a suffering area. Come north about 100 miles and you'll be in my territory - Saginaw. Talk about jobless and violence. We're ahead of Detroit on the list. Happy 76th, surrounded by your wonderful children. Love, Dave

Hi Dr Ram.I found this quite moving and felt your sadness and regret..It is obvious you loved your Dad and he you.We all make mistakes that's what makes us human. But we can all atone for them in our lives and in our hearts as you have done.I would like to know what you are a doctor in if you wish to share with me.May I also wish you a belated Happy Birthday-you're the same age as my husband. And thank you for your comments on my poem. Luv June(to soup friends)
