Magic Beans
Magic beans planted in dreams
send their shoots into the sky.
And climb to where the giants live
beyond the clouds way up high.
Ready for an adventure
imagination’s at hand.
And hope eagerly joins you
for negative thoughts are band.
Maneuvering up the stock
you see your world far below.
And in a moment of fear
you're too afraid to let go.
Then adrenaline kicks in
and you succumb to its call.
And continue up the vine
no longer afraid you’ll fall.
You reach the top bathed in light
yet it’s way too bright to take.
And as sunbeams pierce your lids
you blink and suddenly wake.
