Love Me, For I'Ll Be Gone Tommorrow
Love me, for I'll be gone tomorrow,
and you shall never see me again,
so love me, my dear,
for tomorrow I shall be gone,
tonight I shall pack my bags
and in the morning I'll be gone.
Blue-eyed Death comes for me
and he comes with a long list of flaws,
as my soul is ready,
my body is dull, wrinkled and old
and my heart is without you;
so love me tonight, for I'll be gone tomorrow.
Appreciate everything I say and do for you,
for it comes straight from the heart,
a heart devoted to you and only you,
so love me, for I'll be gone tomorrow,
and you shall never, ever be with me-
nothing but a tombstone and a dozen violets
litter where my body shall rest for eternity,
but my soul will be somewhere else.
Don't fight it,
I know you,
my dear, my love,
I care for you,
don't be foolish-
love me, for I'll be gone tomorrow,
with the rising of the burning sun.
