Love It Old-Fashioned

I wanna catch that old school drift Before the twerk was born and the sex was swift I want that stones on rooftops, slow dance to the jukebox Give me love letters and romance Show me how it was before the lapdance I want to share a love that breathes Like gentle winds to guide our wings Our love maneuvers sun swept skies When waves incline with vicious tides and nature glares with livid eyes I'll share with you my place to hide We'll stand as one through bitter frost When joys are lost I'll be your smile I wait for you to come my way Your parted lips pronounce my name Let dreams place me within your reach, though crippled hope may not seem keen, keep savage faith in search for me And when your longing makes you weak I'll share with you the strength in me I want the man who came because I'm worthy Not the guy who waits to tell his friends he had me I want to love like nothing else matters I want to love no one else matters I want a love where I let somebody own me I want love to love me so much that it yearns for me I want love, real love To find me. WOW - I think many of us look for the same thing - so honestly written about times gone by - but there are some real gems out there so don't give up. I have written a poem of a similar theme called 'just an old fashioned guy' check it out on my own page Jan Allison. hugs jan xxxx
