Lost

One wrong turn, made in the dark of night, alone Navigating unfamiliar roads Headlights dim and flicker, soft Dangling mirror cross All alone LOST no cell phone There's someone far off Unseen, abandoned, what cost? A click, the engine dies, bone chilled, cold One wrong turn, made in the dark of night, alone Written on 10/5/2015

Your strong imagery gave me chills, Laura, as if I were there in that dark of night. A wonderful double Andaree! All the best for the contest. Hugs, Sandra

Thanks, Judy! My first version was the wrong form for the contest, so I had to change it. Liked the first take better, though!
