Everything will change now
It has to
Unbilical cord lost from Mother at birth
Was re attached at her heart
But when her heart stops beating
Doesn't her child too?

The unbroken bond of life must keep the cycles of love forever ... I feel this one, love always.

The closeness you share with your mother is very moving, Jo. Sometimes those "umbilical cords" can stretch for hundreds of miles when a mother and child have a special bond. Very nice write! Love, Carolyn
