Look - the Rainbow Is Faraway
I didn't spin dreams before I met you;
but those proved false and illusions too.
I wondered if life has a story to share...
Something fairytale-like: precious and rare.
Yet each day I longed to be loved;
you shared thoughts, but my soul starved.
Phone calls were frequent; Skype and Watsapp.
Still your indifference put us in a trap.
Neither you nor I could be blamed;
by destiny our situation was framed.
Our perspectives pushed us in different ways.
What we wanted was difficult to guess.
Only if we had not met before marriage;
with the plot weaved differently on the stage.
The knot could have given us reasons to hold;
even if by families to each other we were sold.
Thoughts lure by; memories pull me back,
yet when I see how your commitments lack...
I smile at life and thank for saving me-
A knot with you would have bind me to a tree..!!
You are human. You have feelings too.
I should have accepted anything you do.
While you were experimenting; I fell in love,
it was not your choice, so a broken-heart I deserve.
