Life's Toll.
He sits as man so tiered and true
-life's moments turned him blue,
the weight of his world sits still on his shoulders,
-while his hands blister as he gets older,
a fight he's been fighting for years,
-has taken it's toll you can see it in his tears,
our day will come he's tired of saying,
-as he august the weight once again,
to his feet I'm sure he will rise,
-this old dog never says die,
this moment like all the others will pass,
-he'll do it all again with a laugh,
all it is, is all there is,
-this mans burden is mine not his.
