Life Storms
Today a gentle
breeze swept over
a warm contented
earth,
Tossing fluffy
clouds in a teasing
kind of mirth
Indeed before the
sun had sunk,
thunder roared and
surged
The entire Heavens
parted from
whence a storm
emerged
Wrapped in sheer
perplexity, I gazed
and dared compare,
We people living
way down here
with the Heavens
way up there
Do we not
sometimes feel gay
and shine just like
the sun?
But worry over
nothing seems to
storm out all our
fun?
Then we act just
like a cloud burst
and slowly we
endow,
To tell the world in
general that the
rain is over now.
Forgive a silly
contrast without a
single link
For this is merely
something of which
a fool would think.
