Good move with Orwell, Dr. I think of Napoleon and Snowball often these days. As an aside, the reason Orwell choose 1984 as his title was that he finished it in 1948, then he died. But his thinking then was that he felt that the events could happen within the then readerships' lifetime. Sadly, at least some of them have., Regards, Gerard.
