Karma Bites, Big Chunks From You

Karma Bites, Big Chunks From You. I sent my love you sent back cold hard slaps I gave my loyalty you gave back treachery laced with deceit I sent gentle mercies baked with loving pies You tossed back hatred, viciousness and torrid little lies Years flew by and we found darkness ate us both I tried forgiveness you spat back deep pain I ate it and desperately tried again and again You laughed and crushed deeper my loving soul I found another path to save myself and our child you ran the bars and clubs acting ever so wild Now the years have not been so gentle with you A justice gifted because everybody that loved you you arrogantly and spitefully sought to savagely screw!

Thanks my friend!! Nobody gets to just skate by unnoticed. The Wheel of Justice may grind ever so painfully slow but it also grinds ever so exceedingly fine too!

Thanks . The tragedy was not my pain endured. It was the pain my child endured . Now an adult she discusses it with me about her mom and what she did. Twelve years and my daughter still suffers. That's my rage, my pain means nothing compared to that.

Robert, as sad as this is, reading the last stanza the phrase, "poetic justice" comes to mind...and it is true, we've all been down this road at one time or another....some, more times than others...Excellent poem! This baggage you don[t want to carry along, so keep looking ahead, my friend. Annalise

Felt good to cast it out of me. I've had that darkness in my soul far too long. Now that spot is filled with gentle light and optimism. Thanks much.....

We all have had our bad experiences but I surely got far more than my due. Why, I just haven't a clue.. However , blessed now as greatly as any man alive!!
