Just Tell Her.

talk to her, you plead with me. just tell where you are, just let her know that youre alright. am i really alright? does she even deserve to know? you only get one mother, you're speaking quieter now. because you lost your mother, because i know youre still in love with mine. but please dont make me do it. i know i'm pouting now, glowering, acting like a toddler. no words escape from my mouth, as though its been sewn shut. i dont want to pick up the phone, or type each letter for her to read and understand. you slip $50 in my hand. just talk. just tell her, just tell her. but i cant do it. not with the pulse of bribery in my palm, not with the longing in your eyes. you could never understand what she has done to me.
