Just Hold Me- a Collaboration With Shane C

She: Just hold me here close to your heart Let me stay tranquil a while This world has wrested my joy away And has robbed me again of my smile He: I will hold you forever, part of my soul To linger with me until time’s end I will bring the joy back to your life Your beautiful smile will transcend She: Just keep me here secure in your arms Blissful and unaware of the strife There are those around who wish me harm Be Protector of my heart and life He: Forever I keep you safe in my arms Within my soul you shall dwell A refuge from the pain of the world My love shield, your fear will dispel She: Calm and soothe me, please, cherish me And in this haven, let me rest There is sweetness that here abides When I am pressed close to your chest He: In silent embrace our hearts are one Find in me comfort and surcease of soul My love shall buoy you through every storm As our love the Angels extol Written by Shane Cooper and Eileen Manassian Thank you, Shane, for asking me to collaborate with you. Hello, my dear. I've been busy with my Dad and Step-mom. They were here for two weeks, and they just left today. It's more than that too. I haven't had the heart to write. On a bit of a low....I become reclusive. I'm in that state right now. I'll se how long it lasts. I will have to ride it out. Thanks for visiting me. Hugs

Hi Eileen, feels like a tango ( a dance I don't claim to know how to). Though the steps are complicated, the dancers already anticipate the others' move and so the overall result is like one fluid transition to the next. Beautiful 7. Been doing less comments lately, it's tax season, so has been quite busy...Hugs :)

I enjoyed this write with Shane, Emile. He is a kind hearted man and very supportive. I love to write about romance, so most of my collabs are on that theme. That's the beat of my heart. Sorry I'm late in responding. I haven't been emotionally well and have had a lot of things to attend to at home and work. I appreciate your visits. You know I love your work. Blessings.

Thank you, Njeri. I wanted to portray the safety that a woman feels in a man's arms. I sent Shane some stanzas and he wrote to those stanzas and then we did a she/he response. I think it worked well, so than you for the seven. I'm sure Shane will be delighted. Hugs
