I'Ve Fallen, But I Can Get Up

When haven't we fallen as He reminds us of that plank in our eye It is because of His Calling that we can get back up on one knee There gathering up our thoughts He reaches out with His Hands Everything that one has ever sought for only the Lord Understands How time so quickly past never seeming to get for what we yearn So hard to break out of such a cast when one is so inept to learn Rising back up on one's own feet the wonder of how I ever did that But this was not of my own feat in so leaving where I had once sat Over and over again, standing there, His Two open Pierced Hands As for all men does Our Lord so care for all of us He understands But next time we're not going to fall in not straying from His Side As when it is your name He does call there are few places to hide Having now understood all of this those falls might happen a lot less For the point that many will miss is that it is only He who can Bless When He lifts you up on your feet at first you may wonder a little bit It's all in knowing you are incomplete, the first thing one must admit 2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him
