It Grows, It Shows - a Collaboration With My Sister, Sharon

My heart is like a red, gorgeous rose. It grows still in the glowing sun. It's like a newborn child or son. My heart is as lonely as a lake. But, there is no mistaking. That my heart was breaking. Maybe I’m in low spirits for humanity. Possibly, escape is no calamity. Escape from cruel reality. Now, that's a possibility. That opens up the doors of opportunity. Open up and it can make us truly free. There’s no denying that our lives were close at stake. My spirit within me begins to break. It’s as if the sun’s shining another direction. It shows behind clouds of gray affection. My heart is far greater than poetry and prose.
