Don'T Wake Me

When I am dead, don't wake me. I love you. You love me. No need to make tea. I live on in you and yours. A look, a glance. A turn of phrase. No need to gaze into the coffin, where I lie. I am already gone. Bury me or burn me. I'll wait about. Long enough to see what you did with me. It matters not a jot. I'll never leave you. I'll be all around you. Loving you as always. Until you join me. When I am dead. don't wake me. I love you. You love me. No need to make tea.
