Inspiration
I find inspiration is touching me,
For so many things I have seen are done.
In tomorrow, we will find no guarantee
Beauty of life under God's sky and sun,
Inspiration enough for anyone.
A few things I think are still left to see,
A deep love I find in my sweet wife's eyes.
Fine handsome, young man my son grew to be.
My sweet daughter's son and all that he tries,
My baby granddaughter's musical sighs.
A blooming of flowers come early spring
Or a dropping of leaves in early fall.
Laughter of children playing on a swing
Having fun, on warm days at summer's call.
These are but a few, yet surely not all.
To feel and find His hot sun bake the land
Or sparkles in icicles on the eaves.
Cold winter winds or a warm summer fan.
A cool, calmly feel of earth to bare feet,
Inspiration I find in all of these.
Such wonderful things in this life I live.
I am easy to impress you may say.
There is one more poem I would like to give
Before my inspiration fades away
For I am only inspired, everyday!
