In Time Gone By...
In time gone by when cavemen were a thing of style
When plunder and pillaging were not thought of as vile
In times gone by when days were of leisure
And more thought was placed on fruitful pleasure
In time gone by when caveman speech was a platinum hit
And oppressing women was not thought of as a wayward fit
Yes in time gone by when habits were still being formed
When natures wonders were ripe and full of bloom adorned
And animals traipsed the fertile earth in glee
Without much thought of man making them flee
In this same time gone by when the ultimate power was God
And water was pure and untouched and free
When birds were joyful and happy and on trees
Yes that was a time when earth was honed and pure
When fertile and saturated nature was in spectacular gear
In time gone by when love was sweet and serene
And life was just so incredibly like a dream
