In the Midst of My Madness

In the midst of my Madness,
Encountered, I, my Fate
It sang to me a song of Sadness:
That my Soul would suffocate!
Death doth drip in doleful fits;
It asks, "What have you to give?"
A thousand hearts of atoms split
In the place where Love once lived...

    An amazing piece of poetry! Love can make us go crazy sometimes, even when we have love and when we do not. Crazy isn't it?...What I really love about your poems is that they are direct and to the point. And, I don't have to read them over and over to understand it. Excellent work!

    Your review humbles me, Kelly. I always fear that my pieces are perhaps too "existential" or "esoteric" to be easily understood, but I can clearly discern you have a distinguishing eye, and you understand things that only the Soul can perceive :)
