In My Purse!

While cleaning my rarely used purse I find: Two picture postcards. (never mailed) One pack of crackers. (already stale) a book of poetry (I read every line) Two boarding passes. (his and mine) Some notes I wrote while on the plane. ( on how I would never fly again) Some tablets I took for a cold. ( oh, Toss that! Three years old!) A crayon picture. (drawn all in pink) three pens that don’t write. (all out of ink) Some matches I bummed from a bloke. ( I laughed at those; I no longer smoke!) And way down in the bottom corner. Almost out of sight. A note from my Husband. (My Life’s Delight!)
