In Defense of Mankind...

From the deepest contemplation of the worlds greatest thinkers, from ancient times to the present, mankind has had to humble itself at the greatness of creation, finding himself above the lower creatures, yet lower than the higher intelligences.... We've come a long way from horse and buggy, drawn chariots and wagons,to automobiles, and flying buses in just one hundrend years.... from pidgeon messages, smoke signals and telegraph,to cell phones and instant messaging on the internet... we've endured wars of conquest, whether political or for petty reasons of dominance, only to become stronger from which hasn't killed the spirit of adventure and the innovation of a pioneer... we've learned to do battle on the micro world stage, those infectious pesky bugs which continue to grow stronger, parasitic organisms which search and destroy the healthy, yet...the macro world stage has become our biggest challenge... Circumstance of place, has marked our conditioned mind, which poses many behavoral challenges,as we face our most enduring tests in these troubled times, our ultimate reality,is that we live in a world of multiple realities, grouped into convention of thought, in search of solace and sympathy,as we continue to face conflict and opposition.... Throughout the course of our human history, we have learned and we have proven, that with the ingenuity of hindsight and foresight, we can readily find a remedy to ease the illness at the macro level...as we have on the micro, timely patience should be our friend, instead of instant results becoming our foe.... it took us thousands of years to get to this place we call our present...let's not in the blink of an eye, destroy which our ancestors worked so hard to build... In defense of mankind,we've come a long way, but....we've still got a long way to go....

our unique ideas many times can bring good things and be the greater good for all, yet if we take these same ideas, they are nothing without the existaence of others. That is where the insignificance plays part. Together, we can do many great things! History sure does show that with blessings of productiveness. It really saddens me, as humans we are so counter productive though, we try to improve, only to create then weapons of mass destruction. Makes me ponder humanities violent tendencies, cont

As I was watching mdern marvels on T.V. today, I thought Wow, look at how far we have come to be able to take the salt out of salt water and use it for drinking water! Quite an expensive process but just decades ago, we thought how it wasn't possible. If we could only realize how insignificant we are individually on this planet, maybe then together, we could do the earth a good turn. I believe, that each of us has an impact on life, of course, cont~
