Hi Pd, I've been reading many of your poems this morning (Forgive me for leaving only a single comment). This simple lovely poem for me sums up what I feel is the essence of you. In much of your poetry you are witty and engaging, complex, aggressive, playful and extremely intelligent. You love the use of deep meaningful metaphor, I'm sure much of the meaning of which is lost to me (I've never claimed to be a poet, I just write poems). Cont-

Why, thank you James, I haven't heard from you in a long while. Your comments mean a lot to me. At times I am lost... Thanks for the great look at who I am in and out... Linda

Cont- I believe you also like using words as a way of playing with others in a lighthearted way. Your writes are usually deep and meaningful and very well written, but I think deep down inside, you may be more of a lost kitten that feels way too much of the pain of the world that surrounds you. Someone that deeply feels her emotional stress much more than the average person. I feel your pain, Linda.

I was almost in your position while reading this! I felt the aloneness here, and felt as if I were there in a black hole, wondering. Very nice write, brought out the emotion here, excellent.

Tough times don't always last, but, tough people do especially when they anchor their soul in God

P.D. it is of little comfort to say but God works in mysterious ways. Thank you for your comments on my poem "Letters to God". I think torment and suffering is part of our experience to make us stronger and understand that we must overcome the natural instinct of darkness that we sometimes feel, it is the easy way out to have a hardened heart and an empty soul. Find your way back to the light my friend.

It is ONLY up to us to make our lives better. It's good to have poetry to express the low moments too. Very therapeutic...Just keep on smiling :) Love, iolanda

You are just fine, I would not lie. We all have times when we ask why. But I don't wish to demean your sorrow. Just know the sun will come out tomorrow.

Yes, it is great that the site is up again. I have become something like the"house poet" at the "Little Synagogue" which is housed in the basement of a church and has interesting services with music and readings. They had a nice birthday party on the 14th of October when I turned 56. This poem is powerful but I hope you do not feel that way and just described a certain mindset. Love and Peace Matthew Anish
