Would You Die For Me

Would you die for me? If I was your love, your only love and your love was true Would you die for me? And... Would I die for you? If I was your father, the only one the one who caused your birth Would you die for me? (if you had to) Am I of such priceless worth? If I was your mother, the only one the one who gave you birth Would you die for me?(if you had to) Am I of such priceless worth? If I was your child, your only one the one you caused to birth Would you sacrifice it all for me?(I don't tell you) Am I of such priceless worth? If I was your country, the only one the place and origin of your birth Would you sacrifice your life for me?(if I asked) Am I of such priceless worth? If I was your God, your only one the one who gave you your life the one who gave you my only begotten son does it mean anything, my sacrifice? John Derek Hamilton July 13,2016

John, I love your words. You hold a true gift dear man. It's such a strong emotion to feel that God is our Father who sent His Son for us. So powerful. Great verse buddy :)-luloo

Thanks Laura, it's hard to find people today who care about spiritual things, and their relationship with God. Much appreciated your kind words, I am nothing but a simple messenger.

Thanks Jo, I tried to formulate it progressively leading to the final question, but changed it as most would think it was a radical concept, even extremist to die for their faith, but that is the true meaning of the word martyr. Thanks again.
