I can’t turn back and look at the past My journey into solitude started all too soon Harsh words were spoken And then silence … All you needed to do was look at my eyes Eyes are the windows to my soul But you were just too blind to see The real me Contest:- Contemplation ~ Visual 2 Sponsor:-Mystic Rose 05~07~15

So much blindness in the world when visioning good is blinkered by eyes wide shut. Another meaning and powerful poem Jan, hugs, James xxx

How often are the people who should see all blind to all but what they choose to see. I saw your comment about yesterday...I wonder what misfortune was in the stars and planets, because I was right there with you. (Sighs) Yest today is much better.~Janet

G'day Jan... I read a different Jan today in your poem, and as I chuckle with you in other poems, I feel the sadness with you in this one - Lindsay.

A short but eloquent take on the theme, Jan. You have captured the theme as illustrated by Visual 2. A 7. PS. Hope I'll find the inspiration that can make me write like this on Vienna's contest. Hugs! :) Kim
