I'Ll Not Be Hurt Again
Please do not cry; there is no reason to,
you'll see everything will work out just fine.
I've decided not to move in with you,
and my decision is entirely mine.
My fragile heart has been broken before,
and misery is all I ever feel.
And I've learned dreams are not worth fighting for,
for every time, the pain is all too real.
There's no way I can overlook the truth,
telling you is but a formality.
For despite all my fantasies of youth,
I have learned to deal with reality.
My heart has felt more than its share of pain,
and so I swore; I'll not be hurt again.
