I Will Fold My Petals, Now

Pages are falling, Words are floating down, away; Blood is dripping from my soul; Cannot take the pain, Of unkind words and sharp swords; The petals of my rose fold. No matter the theme, there is only one word that I can say that describes your poetry, and that is 'beautiful' Golly, you have the gift of creating Gems, and they are Gems. I don't say this often, but there's a book, novel in you BW, close your eyes and find it please, for I'd buy it ~~ hugs//James xx ~~

Oh my Constance, you are absolutely the BEST at writing poems with a melancholy feel...I hope you don’t mind me using a line from one of my own poems but it DEFINITELY fits this gem: ‘Somehow I gain beauty from pain’...LOVE the reference to swords and blood in each verse especially...Happy 2016!! - Tim

Sage, thanks for visiting, call it fantastic, I love that word, at the moment I am feeling great sadness, but I will use that sorrow in my writing, that is what I have always done, and oddly poems written in my own blood are my best....
