I Miss Your Yellow-Anacreontic Verse 2 Contest
I Miss Your Yellow
Between orange and green,
yellow lights the way.
Your rainbow unseen,
why couldn't you stay?
Inside your aura,
streaks a somber glow.
Why you left Laura,
I may never know.
I've seen your yellow.
I've felt it's fire.
It's hard to swallow,
your sweet desire.
Sunshine and shade,
cheerful yet sad.
The mess you made is
all I ever had.
Memories of you,
regret inside me.
Your stunning value,
you could never see.
Perfectly made,
and destiny called.
You lit the grenade,
and left me appalled.
Oh, yellow... your soul,
why'd you disappear?
So out of control,
in the atmosphere.
Your yellow, my blue,
oh, how I miss you....
